Review: Epic Movie
I watched Epic Movie last night. Holy CRAP! That has to be the worst movie I’ve seen this year. Those unbelievably lame jokes. The idiotic music montages… It was almost painful to watch.
I love slapstick movies like Airplane, Scary Movie or American Pie. That kind of humor is right up my alley. And I love science fiction and fantasy, so a parody of Harry Potter and Narnia and similar movies should have been a slam dunk. But somehow the people who made Epic Movie managed to make an unbelievably huge pile of stinking crap that was so unfunny that during the entire length of the movie not a single person laughed in the movie theater.
Apparently the producers figured that all you have to do to create a pardoy is make people dress up like a character from another movie, and it automatically becomes funny. Well, it doesn’t.
